J.M Millet opens a drapers and outfitters in Southampton. By 1939, the business had been passed on to his grandson, where the product range was widened, and Millets as a company grew to five stores.
While the J.M Millet business continued to expand, another Millett, Morris Millett, opened a haberdashery. After a series of reacquisitions and expansions by various businesses, by 1984 Milletts were making their mark in the outdoor industry.
With roughly 100 stores, a website, and an app, Millets continues to move into the digital age whilst our high street stores are ready with outdoor experts to answer your queries.
