In 1961, Mike Vaughan senior inherited the shop, which was then a toy and bicycle shop and the shop became “Mikes Bikes”, specialising in bikes and scooters. We have changed over the years but have stuck to our roots and aim to provide the same brilliant products and service we did 55 years ago.After any purchase of a new bike from us, you will receive a free six week check. During the first few weeks of riding, your bike will be going through a settling in period and may well need a few adjustments, particularly to the gears and brakes. To keep your bike running efficiently we will give your bike a quick service and adjust the gears and brakes if needed. Please give us a quick call before you come in for your free six week service.
