Mike spent over 40 years working for Smith & Williamson (formerly Hereward Phillips/Hereward Scott Davies), a medium-sized firm of Chartered Accountants in North London. He trained and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the partnership. Mike continued with the firm becoming staff partner and joint managing partner before leaving the partnership in 2001, to set up his business as a sole practitioner from his home in Potters Bar.
Mike has many interests, ranging from travelling and DIY to classic cars, cycling and a recent interest in Indian cookery.
Debbie completed a German and Spanish degree at The Northumbria University before joining Hereward Phillips Chartered Accountants in North London. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant and subsequently moved on to work for Kodak, as an International Internal Auditor. The four years spent auditing processes at Kodak sites around Europe and Africa gave Debbie the chance to use her languages and accounting qualifications.
