The first thing you'll probably notice about me when talking about wedding photography is how much I flippin' LOVE my job! I actually just really love weddings - if I wasn't a photographer I'm sure I'd be a florist or a cake lady instead. I love colour and hazy sunlight, so my photos are often dreamy and warm. I think I'm probably a little bit obsessed with lens flare.
My name is Mia Hooper (maiden name Kenward) and I love being a wedding photographer. I feel so lucky and privileged to be able to capture the most wonderful and exciting day of so many people's lives, I couldn't wish for a better job. I've also been lucky enough to shoot at all kinds of beautiful and interesting venues over the years, from boutique hotels to beaches, in several treehouses, in lovely old barns and more than once in Nan's back garden.
