Polycarbonate is the strongest of plastics with an impact resistance 200 times that of the equivalent thickness of non toughened glass. Being light in weight it is an ideal material for roofing & glazing applications. Multiwall Polycarbonate is made of horizontal walls connected by regular vertical ribs to provide strength with good insulation. It is available in thicknesses ranging from 4mm Twinwall up to 35mm 7 wall for large span roofs. Multiwall is used for Conservatories; Patio Canopies; Carports; Covered walkways & many other applications. There is a choice of Clear; Bronze Tint; Opal White & Bi - Colours. Clear sheet gives up to 80% light transmission depending on thickness whilst Opal sheet is very popular for Conservatory roofs. We supply a large range of standard sizes but also cut to our customers exact size requirements. All options carry a Class 1 fire rating & a manufacturers 10 year warranty.
