MCPC Systems started life in 1998. Its first ‘office’ was the attic of a family home in a small village in North Wales, where our founder Dave Cartner spent his evenings and weekends learning how to programme Microsoft Access databases.
Back then, MCPC wasn’t even on Dave’s horizon. Neither was writing software (he was always a gardener at heart). Really, all Dave wanted was a piece of kit to help him do his job better. He had worked in local government parks, grounds and facilities maintenance for nearly 30 years, and was fed up of trying to keep track of the stacks of paperwork for all his vital management information.
