John McIlwaine (most of his friends call him ‘Jackie'), was born and raised in Kilwaughter, 3 miles from the town of Larne on the beautiful Antrim coast. Jackie currently resides in Ballyboley, a picturesque country location with a reservoir and stunning forest, first planted in 1957.
As a local successful businessman, who, after 35 years dealing in antiques and paintings in Larne now fulfills his passion dealing in the finest of Irish Art from many well known local artists from past and present.
