After working with several practices in London and Scotland, McArthur Tring Architects was established in 2003 by Gillian McArthur and Steve Tring. Stephen Tring, studied in London and has worked in housing, listed and religous buildings, and leisure with hands on experience with self-build after constructing his own house. Stephen's interests lie in sustainable design and eco -retrofit.
McArthur Tring Architects work on a variety of architecture, interiors and landscapes throughout the UK. For residential work, these can be one off houses or larger projects to include mixed use developments, volume housing and masterplans. We also specialise in leisure and can develop concepts and brand identity for start ups as well as large organisations, leisure and retail chains.
Our approach is individual, considers context, use, practicality and budget to respond to make great places to live, work, play and learn.
