At the young age of ten I was introduced to the glorious world of music, which blossomed into my primary career as a musician and music teacher after studying trumpet and piano at The Purcell School of Music, followed by a four year performance degree at The Royal College of Music. If only I had known then what I know now about the benefits of massage I could have put an end to the build up of tension from all of that practice and performance anxiety.
After sixteen years of teaching music, I decided to embark on a massage course at the Richdales Institute and successfully passed passed both the practical and Anatomy and Physiology. I finally found my passion and talent in massage and became hungry for more skills and so I promptly applied to Richdales for the sports massage course, which I thoroughly enjoyed and excelled in.
I chose sports massage because of my experience in athletics and recently in women's football.
