Martin Lawrence Photography

I am a landscape photographer specialising in images of the English Lake District and Scotland. My work is well known in the Lake District area, where I exhibit in several local galleries and have monthly exhibition/sales at the Moot Hall in Keswick. The site also includes a secure on-line shopping facility where you can buy high quality canvases, signed prints, framed photographs and greeting cards.

After many years as a keen amateur photographer and fell-walker, I decided to start a landscape photography business - Martin Lawrence Photography. The combination of these two pursuits, has allowed me to access and capture images of many of the places that visitors to the Lake District hold close to their hearts.

I currently exhibit my work at several galleries in the Lake District and in Lancashire, supply images for calendars, websites and brochures and contribute to stock libraries. I also write photographic tutorials for magazines and photographic websites.

My work has been published in Lonely Planet Magazine, Countryfile Magazine, Cumbria, Cumbria Life, The Countryman, Photography Monthly, The Times Magazine, Mail on Sunday and many other publications and also appeared on many websites both at home and abroad. One of my images was recently used for a Virgin Rail campaign and appeared in tube stations throughout London and in many daily newspapers.
