My name is Martin Danes and I live in Rayleigh, Essex. I am an Associate Member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and I specialise in Bookkeeping, VAT, and self-assessment for sole traders and individuals. Previous to my bookkeeping career, I worked for many years as an IT Project Manager in London, on a variety of projects, both big and small. I have an eye for detail and an ability to quickly analyse and assess data and highlight where any issues might arise, allowing a speedy response to ensure they don’t turn into problems. These skills are just as relevant in my role as a bookkeeper, and allow me to provide the help and support that sole traders are generally looking for in order to run their businesses effectively.
