Growing up in Scotland meant that I never had to travel very far to find a new and exciting location… most of the time, it was just around the corner. The vast mountainous landscapes of the highlands is where I found my love and passion for photography. I often travelled north to go skiing and mountain biking but that soon changed as I found myself traveling north for a new reason: photography.

Although I had a deep love for photography, it wasn't until my college years that I started to find my own style with both digital and film imaging. It was then that I was introduced to product photography. The clean, meticulous way of working with products to show them at their absolute best, made sense to me on a level that I could never have imagined. I spent years working both on my own and with other photographers developing my understanding for product photography. This is how I am where I am today as a full time professional photographer.Of course I still have my passion for landscape photography, as after all, this is where it all began for me. Whenever I have even a hint of spare time, you’ll find me in the mountains or cities, wandering around with my camera.When I’m not taking photos, you can be assured that I’m most likely thinking about taking them, with my thoughts on the next big project, or even just passing on stories and knowledge to other photographers. I like to create a fun, relaxed atmosphere with my work, which can been seen in the end result. Nothing is ever rushed, and no corners are ever cut (unless you want a round photo!).
