A seventies style bark finish ring is not everyone's ideal, but there was a sizable diamond in this dated setting. We took the diamond out of this seventies setting (below left) and set it in a new mount, to produce a much more wearable ring (below right), thus giving the diamond a new lease of life and the owner a much better looking piece of jewellery, at the fraction of the price of a new piece of jewellery.
