We have a studio in Giffnock (South Side) and in the West End of Glasgow. We provide music tuition, both private lessons and music workshops/ classes. We offer acoustic and electric guitar lessons, bass guitar, didgeridoo, and djembe drumming for all levels including beginners.
Mango Rhythms was born out of a passion for people to learn to play and understand music, to use it for fun, relaxation, therapy and for work. It is important to us that music in all forms is presented as fun, not a stumbling block or chore but a tool to express yourself and enjoy freedom in learning.
Based in the south side of Glasgow in Giffnock, and the Westend, public transport is plentiful:
South – 10 minutes walk from Giffnock railway station on the East Kilbride line from Central Station. There are several bus routes too. Lessons are taught in the Maccabi Center in Giffnock. Johnny McAdam is the full-time guitar teacher with Ben King working part-time in the Westend
West – Subway to Kelvin Bridge, turn left, walk for 4 minutes to Hamilton Park Ave on the right. There are lots of buses to here too. We are near the top of Byres Road on the next block from Viper.
