It has been a busy start to the school year in the Modern Languages Department. We welcomed our new Year 8 pupils into the College and they have all settled very well into their first year of learning Spanish. On the 26th of September we celebrated the European Day of Languages throughout the school. Year 10 pupils lead a special languages assembly. The Year 8 pupils enjoyed a continental breakfast and were joined by P7 pupils from Cranmore Primary School.

All classes completed a quiz on all things European and staff greeting pupils in other languages.
Sadly, in September we said goodbye to two long standing members of the Modern Languages department, Mrs Lowery and Mrs Havlin. We wish them both the best of luck in their new posts.
