How have I gained these skills ? As a photographer I have a fantastic mentor, Michael Hallett, who encouraged and challenged me to achieve my LRPS qualification from the Royal Photographic Society in 2009. Mike continues to encourage my photographic development by inviting me to participate in a range of groups, courses and events; the latest of these is the Worcester Book project. Then the birth of my daughter has given me my very own ‘model’ and the chance to practice, practice, practice and identify the best ways to generate simple yet striking pictures that preserve special moments for a lifetime.
