We are a husband and wife childminding team both of us are Ofsted registered each with a good at last inspection. Stephen has been registered since April 2010. Previously working as a library assistant in the maternal and fetal health research department at Manchester university. Stephen left work in 2008 to be a stay at home dad to our beautiful daughter Zoe and enjoyed it so much decided to make a career out of it.
At LITTLE SPUDS it is our goal to provide the best quality care for your child in a safe, loving, stimulating, smoke free environment. We provide care for children in a family style, loving environment with a preschool atmosphere. We incorporate a theme based, age appropriate curriculum in our day working towards school readiness following the Early Years Foundation Guidance.
The time here is balanced between active play, theme based learning, group work and individual free play. Creativity, music, communication, indoor/outdoor play and movement are very important parts in the development of a healthy child.
