Little Peoples Nursery Portsmouth

As parents we feel it is important to provide a home from home atmosphere making the children feel safe and happy at all times.

Manager Hannah's daughter Elise attended Little Peoples Nursery when we opened until she was ready to leave to go to school, Hannah's daughter Honey started with us when she was 3 months old and is now in our Toddler room. Many of our friends and family have enrolled their children with us at Little Peoples Nursery.

Built in the 1930's, the building was changed into a plant nursery in 1957 called Sunnydale owned by a family of seven children. At the rear of the property there was a large greenhouse on wheels and the children wheeled the greenhouse up and down the garden on a track. The building was purchased in May 2007 by the owners and has tried to keep as many original features as possible including the original porch at the front of the building and the high ceilings with large bright and airy rooms.
