A translator since 1996, I became a freelancer in September 2000. Everything to do with language fascinates me and I also teach French to adults in Edinburgh. I hold a first-class MA in French Language and English Literature which was awarded by the University of Aberdeen in 1994. I also have a Licence (BA) in English Studies from the University of Paris III - Sorbonne Nouvelle (1992). I became a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists in 2000, and am also a member of the Society of Authors, the Translators Association and the Société Française des Traducteurs.
But I am always interested in new, interesting projects: I am currently working simultaneously on various subtitling projects, the translation of a paper on medieval peasantry in England and the adaptation of animation series for preschool children, tweens and teens.
