Treatment then consists of a structural analysis together with assessment of the specific condition. Depending on assessment and patient wishes, soft tissue treatment and articulation will often follow. This gets the muscles and joints moving and helps in the clinical assessment. Gentle manipulation of joints may or may not follow according to whether this is clinically appropriate and on patient wishes. Advice will often be given to assist in the recovery period which is specific to that individual and their condition.
