I am a ceramic artist and sculptor based in Essex. For almost twenty five years I have been working with clay, mainly to commission for diverse clients, creating architectural; three dimensional; figurative & abstract ceramics.
Since beginning a new body of work in 2017 and making a decision to just ‘make stuff’ from this fantastic material, can be summed up as my effort to find balance; to create unity and harmony from chaos. Not only the clutter that surrounds each of us, but so too the chaotic, sometimes crazy world we live in.I love clay; everything about it and although I have no wish to offer it as anything other than what it is, I do hope my work makes people feel something and reflects the sheer joy I get from making it.Please contact me with any queries on my process or how to purchase through the contact page.
