The Lily Pins journey began in 2001 when Jenny Twigg, Founder and MD, was a care worker and began working as a hairdresser in a local care home. Working as both carer and hairdresser, I received wonderful feedback from my clients' families as they saw how the combination of skills enabled me to provide a really special service.
Lily Pins is a DAA recognised company offering specialist, excellent value DBS checked and dementia trained hairdressers, beauticians and chiropodists to residential homes and nursing homes across Britain.
Not only is our high quality service tailored to the procedural and administrative needs of every care home we work with, but every Lily Pins team member undergoes specific Dementia, Health and Safety, Moving and Handling and POVA training, in addition to their professional qualifications and talents (for further details see our Lily Pins training regime).
