My name is Katherine and I am married to Tony and we have two daughters who are both pre-school. I decided to register as a childminder whilst on maternity leave with my eldest daughter in 2010. This has given me the opportunity to stay at home with my own children whilst offering childcare in a home from home environment. Both myself and my husband are CRB checked and we are non smokers with no pets. I understand that it is a very difficult decision choosing who will look after your child. I aim to give as much information as possible to help you make that decision and would encourage you to ask as many questions as you like!

I like to keep parents well informed of what their children have been doing whilst in my care. I complete a daily diary in which I record any new learning, what activities your child has participated in, food eaten, nappy changes, naps, etc. I am also able to take the 15 hours early years entitlement and childcare vouchers issued by your employer.
