Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting. BJJ can be trained for self defence, sport grappling tournaments, and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition, sparring and live drilling play a major role in training.
BJJ Surrey - Legends Martial Arts Academy, a top ranking competition team was established by Milan Keric in 2010. At Legends Martial Arts Academy we cover one of the fastest growing Martial Arts in the World, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu BJJ. This is run under Thiago "Monstro" Borges and is part of the Checkmat family. We are the only Martial Arts Team covering Brazilian Jiu Jitsu BJJ in the whole of the Spelthorne area. Along with offering Authentic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu BJJ, we teach Authentic Muay Thai/Kickboxing - Free Style Wrestling, Mixed Martial Arts, and self defence. We at Legends Martial Arts pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly atmosphere during classes, with focus both on hard training, fun and on respect for all members.
