Leeds Alternative Travel is a part of the HCT Group. We are a social enterprise that helps our community to get out and about. We provide Group Transport - a low cost alternative to minibus hire for community groups, YourCar - an accessible alternative to minicab hire for people with disabilities or mobility difficulties and more.
Leeds Alternative Travel has been helping the community in Leeds to get out and about since it was founded in 1997 as an Industrial and Provident Society to provide community transport services in the city. In 2008 we joined HCT Group - one of the UK's leading social enterprises. We provide a range of high-quality transport services for the community out of our Gelderd Road depot.
Minibus hire - a low cost alternative: We provide community groups, clubs and non-profit organisations in Leeds with a financially supported scheme to access cheap minibuses - Group Transport.
YourCar: A low cost, fully accessible alternative to minicab hire - designed to help people with disabilities or mobility difficulties where a regular minicab or taxi doesn't meet all of their needs. Vehicles are fully wheelchair accessible and drivers are trained to be able to help their passengers from door to vehicle to door.
