Lawton Valley Kennels & Cattery

The establishment was built in 1989 by Pete and Bev Barber, as our daughter Rebecca grew up she helped us. Bev holds an Animal Care National Certificate and a Diploma in Kennel Management; she is also a professional dog trainer. Rebecca has BSc(hons) Animal Health MPhil Biological Sciences. We are a knowledgeable, professional team with over 30 years of dog showing, working, breeding and a lifetime of large and small animal ownership. We breed and show Dobermanns and Border Terriers under the Alcumlow Affix. We also judge these breeds at championship show level. Our puppies are very carefully reared, health checked, loved and only very occasionally available. We have very successful show dogs some of which are shown on these pages. All our dogs are our pets along with our Cat, Taffy and our Shetland ponies. Our establishment prides itself on cleanliness, care and attention to detail. We love and care about all the pets we care for. Love and cuddles are part of our job!
