Lauchlan Sheila

Change is not something we should fear. Rather, it is something that we should welcome. I am Sheila Lauchlan, a Relationship/Family Psychotherapist and Counsellor based in Cobham, Surrey, which is within easy reach of Leatherhead, Epsom, Weybridge and Walton upon Thames, Horsley and Esher, as well as other towns in Surrey. This type of therapy has its roots in family psychotherapy and counselling, but nowadays the therapy is used in a very flexible way to work with individuals, couples and families. I have experience in working with all age groups, including adolescents. The work can be short term and focused, or if the issues are more complex it can take longer. When people experience difficulties in their lives, this often affects their relationships, and so as a relationship psychotherapist and counsellor I focus on communication patterns and how these patterns create repetitive cycles, which are familiar but difficult to break.
