Sue worked for HMRC for over 30 years having carried out various roles over the years - dealing with PAYE enquiries, Staff Training, Investors in People, Health and Safety, Small business Enquiries, Corporation tax Enquiries and CIS liaison to name a few. Following many years assisting with enquiries - Sue left HMRC and decided that she could offer bookkeeping to a much higher standard than she had seen during her 'enquiry' years. Sue enrolled on a bookkeeping course at Abingdon and Witney College - where she met Laura, Fiona and Victoria.

After attaining NVQ level 2 in August 2006 - Sue set up La Livre - working from home. Two years later and clutching an NVQ Level 4 (along with an Additional Unit in Business Tax) she became a full member of the AAT and was awarded a practising licence in September 2008. In May 2010 - she moved from her conservatory into a small office in Market Square and in November 2011 La Livre moved into to their current larger Office on the ground floor.
