Kush Yoga

Offering yoga therapy to children and young people with special needs is at the heart of what we do. When you pay for a class, your fee is a donation that helps us ensure that no child is ever turned away due to their financial situation. We believe in healthy bodies and happy minds, and practice yoga to realise this balance. We are here to share this, and aim to create vitality and meaning in the lives of people who come to practice yoga at Kush.

Kush Yoga is a charity. We opened in Spring 2013 with the aim of establishing a thriving community of yoga practitioners that could sustain a space where children with special needs can benefit from yoga therapy.

Here at Kush, we open the doors to everybody - welcoming adults, teens, kids and special children. When you come to a yoga class at Kush, your class fee helps more children with special needs to practice yoga.

The centre has a strong community focus and brings together people from diverse backgrounds to practice yoga and socialise in a warm, welcoming and healthy space. We offer open led and self-practice classes for adults, restorative classes for teens, and fun classes for kids. We use a dynamic approach to yoga from the tradition of Ashtanga Yoga. We also host monthly community practices followed by chai and cake and we have various cultural events, such as film nights and raw food cookery classes.
