Kirsty often works creatively, which can be particularly useful with younger clients, making use of a wide variety of art materials and therapeutic techniques including Sand Tray. For those who prefer not to work with creative materials, Kirsty is equally at home using traditional methods of therapy. She continues to be committed to professional academic development through studying towards a PhD at the University of South Wales, Newport. Kirsty is also a Qualified Counselling Supervisor with an MA in Consultative Supervision from the University of South Wales, Newport. Which means she is qualified to supervise counsellors, psychotherapists and other helping professionals, of all abilities and experience. She also works creatively in supervision, particularly with sandtray, having written extensively about this approach within both academic study and the BACP Children and Young People Journal. However more traditional talking approaches to supervision are also offered.
