Kirstin Prisk Photography

I unwittingly took retirement first by spending the ages of 14 - 26 surfing, with little thought about anything else. During this time I was lucky enough to have the backing of my family, and surf giant Quksilver who enabled me to follow my passion for wave riding across the globe. Of course you can't be a surfbum forever and I came to the conclusion I was in deep shit at the age of 26.

Luckily about this time I became passionate about image making and I went on to complete a BA (Hons) in Photography & Digital Imaging, achieving 2:1 and winning an award for my final major project, '600mm'. I also wrote a dissertation on contemporary wedding photography, which led to a passion for creating the photographs you will find in the relevant section of this site.
