Kiosk works on the premise that interesting projects need people who are passionate about what they do. Our approach is to marry contemporary design with maximising benefits for our clients. Our ability to listen and to prioritise our clients' needs forms the foundation to deliver engaging projects efficiently and to a given budget.
Kiosk was established in 2009 as a regional practice. From the outset our interest in designing buildings was directed by a keen interest in what other people and organisations do and how space affects these activities.
Our first commissions were exhibitions and working creatively with schools on indoor and outdoor projects as well as attending to people's homes. We built links with arts and cultural organsiations and used our increasing expertise in schools to change learning environments.
2011 saw us venturing into working with historic buildings. Our conversion of a Grade II listed Church Hall into Brighton Road Studios was shortlisted for the 2013 RICS North East Awards. Increasingly commercial projects also feature in our portfolio.
