My name is James Mackie and I graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 2000 and, as with all UK registered osteopaths, am registered with my governing body, the General Osteopathic Council. Post qualification, I spent the first 5 years gaining experience as an associate osteopath in practices in Hull, London and Salisbury, working with Salisbury Rugby Club treating player injuries for 9 seasons.

In 2005 I began working as an osteopath with the Physio Unit of the PGA European Tour europeantour.com. I currently work at around 17 tournaments a season and the rest of the time offer appointments throughout the week on a fee-paying basis at Fairhill Medical Practice in Kingston Hill near New Malden. This GP surgery is opposite Kingston Hospital and there is on-site car parking. My specialised area is golf-related injuries but I also have several years' experience treating musculoskeletal symptoms in the general population.
