K.D Jewellery

K.D Jewellery is a small home-based business in South Devon which began in 2013. My name is Kirsty and I am the owner/designer of K.D Jewellery. I am 26 years old and live in Newton Abbot in Devon with my family. I have been married to my wonderful husband for two years and, between us, we have four children. I have always been a creative person but had never thought about turning my hand to jewellery. That is until I was in search of the perfect bracelet. I knew in my mind exactly what I wanted but could not find anything that was just right. So, being fussy, I decided to purchase the materials and try to create it myself. Needless to say, I succeeded and I enjoyed it so much that I began to make custom-bracelets for family and friends. I gained the confidence in my new-found skills to begin to branch out into other items such as rings and necklaces. I had several suggestions that I could start selling my jewellery but never really considered it seriously until November 2013.
