In recent times criminal law firms have tended to adopt a conveyor belt approach to defending cases. To some, a client appears to be no more than a name on a file passed from department to department as the case progresses from the police station and through the courts. We do not agree with this approach.

Ours is a more traditional method whereby clients have continuity of representation. One solicitor deals with a case until its conclusion. We do not believe clients are simply names and numbers on a file and pride ourselves on a more personal approach.

We also maintain a traditional attitude to the difference in expertise between a solicitor and a barrister. Unlike many other firms who use in-house advocates to generate extra income, we know our clients achieve better outcomes when represented by barristers who have dedicated their careers to effectively defending complex, heavyweight criminal matters at the Crown Court and higher Courts.
