Our clients range from individual domestic property owners to commercial plc's and local authorities. The firm's office, with its own parking, is at the end of the Mancunian Way and only a short walk from Piccadilly railway station, Manchester. Based in the North West we are within easy reach of Lancashire, Cheshire and Greater Manchester, though we are happy to travel further afield.

Founded in 1983; John Kershaw Chartered Surveyors aim to provide a range of specialist consultancy services in relation to many property matters.

Whilst we are happy to provide services direct to the public, we are also in demand from lawyers acting on behalf of clients in areas of housing disrepair, dilapidations, boundary and right of way disputes, construction negligence, personal injury involving building or construction problems, and negligent valuations; and we also give advice and provide services to property management companies.

We have a professional association with Triangle Architects ( and with whom we share Raven House) whose expertise is primarily in social housing and healthcare.
