John Gilbert Garden Designer

I’m a hands-on gardener and have been designing, building and planting beautiful gardens for satisfied customers since 1995. I studied garden design and horticulture at Capel Manor College, London and I am a holder of the Royal Horticultural Society’s prestigious Diploma in Horticulture. I also hold a Masters degree in Garden History at Birkbeck College, London. I lecture in garden design and I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. For many years I have been one of the team of judges for the Flowers in the City competition which seeks to encourage individuals and businesses within the City of London to create and maintain colourful gardens, window boxes, hanging baskets etc. for the benefit of all who live and work there.
