Joe teaches students throughout Essex and Hertfordshire, from children as young as six to adults in their 80s. Teaching both groups and one to one, he has experience teaching all abilities and styles, along with relevant skills such as songwriting and music theory.
Lessons are conducted either at the home of the student, or at Joe's home studio, where amplifiers and leads are provided. He teaches grades 1-8 from the Rockschool (acoustic and electric), RGT (acoustic and electric), Trinity (classical and rock/pop) and ABRSM (music theory) exam boards. As of August 2017, he has an exam pass rate of 100 percent, with over 50 students having taken exams under Joe's tutelage. 98% of those student have received a merit or distinction.Joe has a firm belief that music should be fun and rewarding. Each lesson is tailored to the need of that particular student, in order to maximise results, whether that is through personal progression or attaining grades.He has lectured at the Hertfordshire College of Music, as well as teaching at their academy. He is CRB checked and complies with all current legislation.
