Jo Wise Photography

I've been passionate about photography ever since the age of five, when I picked up a camera to capture an amazing sunset. Later in life, I travelled extensively, developing an eye for detail and a unique style. I've always been intrigued by people and love creating beautiful imagery out of everyday lives. On my return to England, I decided to specialise in portraiture. Having a family of my own, I learnt how to put babies and children at ease. I believe photo shoots should be fun, so my style is very relaxed. My images are simple, natural and very insightful. I use photography to portray the wonder of a newborn baby, the excitement of childhood, the magic of pregnancy or the special bond that exists within a family. Every portrait is distinctive and full of character, reflecting the true essence of its subject. I have my own studio in Worthing, which is perfect for contemporary images. I also shoot on location. I use the light, colour and texture of different surroundings to inspire me.
