Hi my name is Jo and I’m a small to medium business consultant and mentor with a passion for marketing, strategy and creating your business stepping stones to success.

In 2010, and after the 6th or 7th round of redundancy programme within the corporate business I worked in, I made a life changing decision to leave ‘corporate life’ and find a vocation which allowed me to spend more time with my children and create a more balanced lifestyle for my family and myself.

I retrained as a baby & pre-school swim teacher and put my 20 years of corporate experience in to the marketing and PR of this small business, suddenly realising my love for small businesses versus the gruelling demands and impersonal environment of the larger companies I’d had experience of.

Now I’m not saying that creating a successful small business does not take effort, time, blood, sweat and tears however for me the rewards are so much more; watching a small business lay stable foundations and start their steps to real and sustainable growth, based on true goals and strategies set by the business for the business.
