The director of JLS & Co Accountants Ltd, Joanna Scanlon is a qualified chartered certified accountant. She has been working in South Wales for the last 28 years. Joanna was trained as a professional accountant in one of the largest independent accounting firms in Cardiff. She then moved to Grant Thornton and joined their forensic department before moving to the largest independent firm in Merthyr Tydfil.
She has vast knowledge in family and owner managed companies and businesses and has a successful record in assisting these businesses with their everyday running and at year ends. Joanna is also experienced in assisting self-employed people and partnerships. For over three decades now, she has been successfully handling tax affairs, accounts preparation, VAT records and payroll records for businesses of all shapes and sizes.
JLS & Co Accountants Ltd was established in March 2008 when Steve Taviner retired and handed his business to Joanna. In May 2010, JLS & Co Accountants Ltd bought out Peter Kitchin from Ystrad Mynach. Peter has now retired, after many years of assisting JLS & Co Accountants Ltd when required.
