I have also worked as a counsellor for an IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) service, working with clients referred by the NHS. I work with individuals and couples, providing both short term counselling, and longer term, open ended psychotherapy. Whatever brings you for counselling or psychotherapy, I'll work with you towards a better understanding of yourself and your needs, your options and your own resources, to enhance your capacity to live in a way which is satisfying for you. I'm empathic and approachable, and offer you, in your therapy sessions, the time, space and support to explore yourself and your life - to help you to move on from old experiences and difficulties, and develop new perspectives and coping skills.
