When you contact me I will invite you to tell me a little bit about why you are seeking counselling now. We can then arrange an initial appointment so that we can meet and discuss in more depth what is going on for you and what you would like to gain from the counselling. This will last for 1 1/2hrs and cost £40. If you would like to take it further, I will offer you either short-term counselling which lasts for between 6 and 8 sessions or open-ended counselling which means you can stay on until you feel ready to stop counselling. Each session lasts 50 minutes.
I am an accredited member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their Ethical Guidelines and Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I am also a member of The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) which is a leading professional body for psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy and I am a member of The Foundation for Psychotherapy (FPC).
