Music, real instruments, and real fun, with all sessions taught by a fully qualified classroom music teacher! Jelly Jam Music offers music sessions for children from the ages of 18 months to 5 years in Cambridge and Barrington. The emphasis is always on fun, but through group activities, each child learns the elements of music and valuable social, teamwork, and listening skills in a safe, secure environment. Our sessions can provide a preparatory step to formal instruction on a musical instrument.
A keen french horn and piano player, Laura Moran graduated (with honours) in music in 2002, and gained her PGCE teaching qualification in 2003. Laura started teaching at GCSE, ‘A’ Level, and BTEC level in a large secondary school, before swiftly becoming Head of Music.
More recently, Laura now teaches music in a local junior school in North Hertfordshire, and in a number of nurseries in the Cambridge area. She enjoys the challenge of making music fun and relevant to all age groups – particularly to those in their most formative years.
