Jay Riley Saxophone

I started my career in 2001 with The Dr Teeth Big Band and was signed to Big Bear records. I toured the UK, Spain, France, Italy, Norway and Chicago and recorded 2 albums with the Teeth. I have been luck enough to share stages with artists such as McFly, Billy Cobham, the Count Basie Orchestra, Roy Ayers, Kyle Eastwood, Robert Plant and Chaz & Dave! I continue to tour and record as a freelance session musician.

As an educator I have worked in almost all educational settings. I have taught class, individual, workshops, summer schools; worked in private, state secondary, FE and some HE. I have also been invited to present workshops for schools nationally and in the States. In Feb 2003 I was selected for a music education exchange in Lviv, Ukraine - it was.cold!
