Having gained over six years' hands-on experience from a Cheltenham-based painting and decorating company and completing my NVQ in painting and decorating, I always knew this was what I wanted to do. As I developed my skills on-site - rather than in an unrealistic classroom setting - I was able to learn a huge amount about all areas of the business, real tips of the trade, as well as build up a reliable network of suppliers.

I think it's important that people can trust me to treat their property with respect and do a professional job - all for a competitive price. I enjoy the variety of my work and get as much satisfaction from painting a downstairs cloakroom as I would from decorating a series of new builds for a property developer.
