Kim graduated with a degree in accountancy from the City of London Polytechnic and qualified as an ACA with Keelings in 1987. After a couple of years working with the 'big 8' firm Deloitte Haskins & Sell, she moved to Casson Beckman in 1990 where she specialised in tax investigations. Kim has a passion for working with SMEs, whether well-established or start-ups and has presented a variety of professional training in tax and book-keeping for new businesses. John graduated with a BSc in biochemistry from University College London.

He went on to complete an LLB in law at the Polytechnic of Central London and also acquired a BA in Maths & Philosophy from the Open University. John qualified as an ACA in 1980 with Mellors Basden & Co a small city firm before moving on to the mixed (personal and corporate) tax department of 'big 8' firm Touche Ross & Co. John moved to Casson Beckman to focus on tax consultancy where he went on to head up the tax function and became a Partner.
