J.A. Steel & Son were established in 1899 and have moved thousands of customers locally, nationally and internationally. All our staff are fully trained and we operate a full in-house quality standard. J.A. Steel & Son will sit with you, free of charge and without any obligation, to help you plan your move. Then we'll assign a team of BAR certified staff to prepare your consignment, taking great care of your household furniture and effects throughout the process of your move. During the move your furniture will be soft blanket wrapped for maximum protection, especially to polished surfaces. Settees, armchairs and mattresses will be wrapped in purpose-made polythene covers that offer the ultimate protection, so your possessions arrive in perfect condition. We have an in-house training department that expertly trains our staff and ensures we maintain our high levels of service. If you need to store items, each package will be numbered to correspond with the packing inventory we prepare. This is also your receipt for the items stored. We operate over 30,000 sq ft of fully containerised storage at our depot. We also have 24 hour Red Care Security.
