Iwonayoga

Iwona belonged to a traditional Polish folk song and dance group Karolinka for 16 years whilst developing her career within the fashion industry. She eventually decided to go travelling to Asia to learn about different cultures. She stayed in an ashram in India in 1995, where she tried her first class of yoga. Having tried various forms of yoga she eventually settled with ashtanga and dynamic, qualifying as a yoga teacher at Himalaya Yoga Valley, Goa, India in 2009.

Iwona has a daily Mysore practise under Hamish Hendry, and has trained with Norman Blair, and Oloff Kujit, all highly respected teachers. She still freelances within the fashion industry, as well as teaching yoga; as she feels these occupations compliment one another and help relate to everyday life.

What does yoga mean to Iwona? It's a voyage of self discovery, appreciation and openness to being in tune with ones body, mind and thoughts. A lifestyle compassionate with nature.
