Chief Rabbi Lord Immanuel Jakobovits z''l founded us to fulfil his vision of a school giving its pupils a first-class education connecting Jewish and secular wisdom, teaching boys and girls equally, encouraging questioning and independent thought. Our aim is integrated personalities whose Jewish identity is knowledgeable, secure and proud. We encourage self-esteem, care for others, high achievement, and exemplary citizenship in this complex world. Lady Amelie Jakobovits z''l on one of her visits to us called Immanuel College 'a great blessing for Anglo-Jewry.'
Our academic, social and sporting lives are far more successful and full than our year groups of 60 to 70 students could be expected to produce.
